refund Policy

Ending hunger will require a partnership between government, business, individuals, and charities. Despite what some would argue, private charities will never have the capacity to meet the needs of hungry Americans without government having a major role. It is for this reason that it is critical for those of us in the anti-hunger movement to be informed and involved in the legislative process. You can help by contacting your elected officials.

All donations to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina are appreciated. Second Harvest only gives refunds on donations under the following circumstances:

  • If the donor has submitted multiple donations when the intention was a single donation
  • If the donor has made an error in the amount in which they wish to donate
  • If there was an error on our part in billing a credit card transaction over the phone, at an event or entering a donation that has been mailed to our office
