Appliance Program
To increase the ability of our partner agencies to provide more nutritional foods, refrigerators and freezers are needed. To support this cause, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina has provided $40,000 in appliance grants to dozens of partner agencies in the past two years.Agencies apply for grant dollars by stating how the purchase of a refrigerator or freezer would increase the agency’s ability to serve more nutritional foods to a larger number of people. If you are interested in the Appliance Program, please contact Kathy Helms at 704-375-9639 ext.15 or e-mail at kfhelms@secondharvest.org. |
